I am a Portland, Oregon native and a first-time Hyundai owner. I love my 2004 Santa Fe so much it most certainly
won't be my last Hyundai, either. It's been a great car. The next addition to the garage (depending on my status of employment) will probably be a
Hyundai Genesis V8 Sedan. One reason for not getting another Santa Fe is I'm not crazy about the direction in which the styling is headed. Reason number
two is I'd like a fun car while I can and the Genesis is a stunner on all levels.
From February, 2006 to January, 2009 I worked for a number of car dealerships while trying to figure out what I want to do for a long-term career. I made up my mind shortly after being laid off from my
last gig (Audi shuttle driver) due to downsizing. I will be attending a course on becoming a railroad conductor for the freight lines. The starting pay is
good, there's room to move up, and the benefits can't be beat. That and the railroad industry as a whole is expected to grow exponentially over the
following years. I'm hoping for the best.
I enjoy learning about cars, traveling, photography, and being with friends and family.
